AVOID!!! TWO Fridgidaire Appliances Defective! Resubmitting as Original Review Not Appearing Anymore

Non stop beeping brand new & complete hassle to replaceThis is not my 1st Fridigaire appliance but I don't believe I will buy another one again after my recent experience with our new 36" French door counter depth fridge. Once our build was complete and the fridge was set up it did not stop beeping. As the "return" window from home depot was past, we had to try to deal with Fridigaire directly for a resolution. Over 6 weeks later we finally have a replacement (hoping no further issues) and it was a nightmare to even get to this stage. We also were left without an appliance for 48hrs since the replacement was contingent on the defective unit being picked up when the replacement was delivered (had to wait before plugging in new unit & also for it to get cold enough before use). Fridgedaire would not allow the defective unit to be picked up after the 48 hrs. The first promised delivery date did not happen (noone notified us either) and I had to take another day off work at expense for rescheduled delivery. Would not recommend based on the very poor customer service for having been given a defective unit and having to fight for one that was not.

I have had the refrigerator for a week. It replaced a Kitchenaid that had quit working but was the same style. So far I like this one better, it has deeper door shelves and the sliding shelf is handy for taller items. The vegetable/fruit bins are deeper than the Kitchenaid also. I like that there is not a gap behind the shelves, nothing can fall down in the back as it could in the other brand. I like the smaller ice cubes as well. As long as it keeps cooling for a LONG time, I will be very happy with my purchase!

I love almost everything about my new refrigerator! It™€™s so spacious and quiet. The only area that I could even think of room for improvement would be the sturdiness of the freezer door. When opening and closing there seems to be wiggle room that wish was more solid. I love it, just hope it stands the test of time!

Just love this fridge, as I did months of research on which brand would provide the reliability, function and quality of materials I was looking for. The Frigidaire Professional line ticked all the boxes for me. I was replacing a 28 cu ft three door fridge for this 23 cu ft counter depth model and I was hoping that I would not regret my decision because we cook a lot and our fridge is always full. After living with it for a couple of weeks we absolutely love all the features provided by this model, lighting is bright and we can view all the contents easily, space has surprisingly not been an issue as we opted not to have the ice/water in the door option, which leaves more room for food storage. This fridge is so quiet, so beautiful, love the finish and function of the glass shelves, large door bins. I would say the freezer is the only section that seems smaller than our previous one, however we have an upright freezer so it really wasn™€™t an issue for us. I am relieved and very happy with our decision.

After having to send back the first one because the electronics didn't work, we finally got a replacement delivered. Good, adaptable space in the refrigerator; not much room in the freezer. Ice maker produces small cubes; recommend buying some large, cocktail-sized ice trays for more useful sized ice. All in all, not a bad standard home refrigerator.

Replaced aging Frigidaire Professional refrigerator with a new one of same series. This one has misaligned fridge doors and freezer door that is not level with fridge doors. Manual doesn't help and YouTube videos only partially help. While, I am able to level the fridge doors, the left door closes tighter than right door, so there remains a 1/4" difference between having the two doors close flush. Freezer door seal overlaps the right door bracket as it's not level nor able to fix. Quality workmanship today is lacking.

Absolutely love my new Frigidaire professional fridge. It is so sleek yet simple from the outside and looks very high-end. Love the placement of the water right on the inside of door. The ice maker is perfect. I never knew what a new higher quality vegetable crisper could do for making my veggies last longer. Overall love it. I was nervous about going from a standard side-by-side fridge and freezer, but this has so much more room than my old refrigerator which was actually larger. Cubic square feet.

We had a hard time deciding between a standard depth or counter depth refrigerator. We went with the counter depth and are so happy we did! There is a lot of space in the door bins and love the 2 adjustable shelves in the main compartment. The water dispenser is convenient and the ice maker in the freezer does a great job.

Mine was built in 9/25. Delivered on 11/22/25. Nice big fridge. Layout is pretty good. Mine got delivered with a defective led light so half the fridge is unlit. Still awaiting parts. The freezer drawer is loud cause there™€™s a rod in the back of the drawer that is in my opinion, in need of better design, It loosely sits in the small plastic sprockets which allows it to clank around on opening and closing of the freezer drawer which is quite loud. I may try to wedge or alter that bar so its quieter drawers seem good and we like the foldable shelves. It™€™s a shame it had problems from initial delivery.

I did a lot of research on this refrigerator before we bought it after we had a Samsung with multiple ice maker issues. Sadly, this refrigerator is less than a year old and we have had a repairman out 4 times for our water dispenser and ice maker. Each time we have had to defrost the refrigerator for 2 days prior to the repairman coming out because it the system freezes up. Had I known we would be dealing with the same issues, I would have bought a basic model refrigerator with no ice maker. This is so frustrating and Frigidaire's customer service is 0 help whatsoever, except to recommend buying the extended warranty in the event there are issues once the year warranty is up. I can almost guarantee there will be an issue! Why should I be responsible for purchasing an extended warranty when my refrigerator has not worked properly since I received it?!? Do not buy this refrigerator and read the reviews on others before you purchase.

I absolutely love my new fridge. I got the counter depth and I was worried I wouldn™€™t have enough room but due to the design it feels bigger than my old regular sized fridge. The stainless never gets dirty or finger printed up. It truly is a fabulous product.

We did so much research before buying this model. We could not be happier! By far the best refrigerator we have ever owned. Sleek and stylish, and the features are state of the art (humidifier-controlled crispers and temperature-controlled seafood and meat drawer). We really like the clean classy look outside with the water dispenser and ice maker inside. The French doors and freezer drawer are solid feeling. We visited so many showrooms, and most other brands frankly felt cheap. Do yourself a favor and find one on display so you can experience the quality construction and design in person. I highly recommend this appliance.

Well lit interior, nice finish and design for our space, conveniently located water dispenser inside refrigerator, thoughtful storage spacing both frig and freezer. Lower Pull out drawer in frig does not pull out far enough to access items in the back of the drawer . It can be tilted and pulled out more but not smoothly. Ice turnoff in a very awkward spot should you want or need to turn it off™€¦have to get down on knees and bend over to access.

The PWF-1 water filter costs $50+ and the RAF-2 air filter is another $20. After losing power, even for a minute, the refrigerator beeps 3 times repeatedly and displays a Power Loss error until someone presses the notification to cancel it. Who thought that would be a good idea to notify with that error when the refrigerator's temperature is normal? The control panel on the left door's edge seemed like a good idea until living with it for a couple days. It is way too sensitive so we frequently activate some setting control on the door when just opening the door.

Nice Counter-Depth Fridge

I really enjoy that I still get filtered water and an ice maker but it takes up such a small amount of space in the fridge and freezer. Has a good amount of storage in the fridge, but the freezer feels quite small. Would recommend a chest freezer to supplement the space.

I love the sleek look of the Frigidaire French Door fridge but it also works great, nice features! The water dispenser is inside the door & very easy to use. The deli drawer is very convenient & all drawers are clear, so easy to see inside. The shelves were very easy to adjust. I like the pull out freezer drawer. My adult niece says the shape of the ice cubes are cool. Haha! They™€™re smaller than the cubes of my old fridge™€¦they™€™re small squares. I just use more, no big deal.

Avoid if you don't like annoying whining noises

If you're noise conscious, avoid this refrigerator. While the normal sounds of the compressor running continuously aren't bad, the upper ice maker runs at a high frequency which everyone in my house, living or visiting, finds quite obnoxious. Especially if you have hollow cabinets or an open floor plan around the refrigerator.

We recently purchased this new refrigerator and to replace a Samsung French door with a bad ice maker and failing temperature control module. I wanted a refrigerator with an ice maker in the freezer. All models with an ice maker in the refrigerator section fail.

I didn't realize how badly I needed a new fridge until I got this one! It is so nice, so much room, and keeps everything at the right temperature. I love the ice machine and basically all the simple things that a fridge does.

Worth the wait

We waited a month for this fridge to be delivered and so far it was worth the wait. The veggie and fruit drawers keep the food crisp. The ice maker is quiet compared to other fridges we have owned with ice makers. Also, the ice compartment is large.

Has had some odd issues

We love the new refrigerator...when it's working! Since getting it four months ago, we've had to replace it once (for an error code upon arrival) and have it repaired a second time for failing to cool down. So we've had to throw out a lot of food and spend a lot more time troubleshooting than we thought we would have to on a brand new fridge. We're crossing our fingers that this time the issues have been resolved!
