FILTER WORKS FOR 6-8 WEEKS PROPERLY ONLY

First year having new fridge: no answers why filter only works for 6-8 weeks family of 2. after 6-8 weeks it takes 2-3 minutes or longer to fill water glass. multiple service calls no answer. Paid for replacing filter and buying bottle water etc. I guess next fridge will not be Kitchen Aid.

Bought 2 of these filters and both lasted less than 50% of their expected life. At around 40% usage, the filter starts choking the water supply & it comes out very slowly.

The very worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered this filter and my order was canceled. When I asked customer service, this was their response: "I do apologize, however this purchase has been flagged by our system and it will be declined out of caution. This does not reflect on you as a shopper, and we apologize for the inconvenience. If you believe this is an error, we recommend you continue this purchase with a local retailer". What does that even mean? Do you think I will be purchasing anything from KitchenAid EVER again? Even replacement parts will be purchased elsewhere. KitchenAid, you are dead to me.

The KitchenAid Refrigerator Water Filter 2 is incredibly easy to install and works flawlessly. I got my kitchenaid water filter from influenster and it worked just as it was supposed to! It was very easy to change out and put the new filter in. My water tastes fresh and clean now! Perfect

Was a normal filter, nothing special and nothing different than one you would get that comes with your fridge itself. Obviously you need these to continue to have your fridge function as it should.

Very easy to install and works very well filtering the water. Its price is not the cheapest but it is worth buying a filter to avoid buying so much bottled water. It is also compatible with some newer refrigerators that the kitchens have.

The filter was easy to replace, and the water tastes good. We change it out every six months and that appears to be the proper time frame. Only thing is the price, but they sort of got us over the barrel.

What a wonderful campaign to be selected for! My husband is a competitive athlete and drinks over a gallon of water/day. We try to minimize the amount of disposable water bottles and have converted over to the one-gallon Ice Shakers to ensure he consumes enough water. Replacing the water filter on our fridge is extremely important in a health-conscious household. Installation was simple (and something we were already familiar with). Nothing hits the spot like ice cold, fresh tasting water!

Extremely easy to insert into the filter slot in the refrigerator. When you first replace it be sure to run a few full cup cycles to release trapped air. It makes ice and water taste so clean!

This filter by far is one of the best water filters we™™ve ever had. The water and ice tasted so good. It didn™™t take long to get the purification either. We™™ve tried other filters but they didn™™t have the same effect as this one. They cost about $43 each on Amazon but it™™s worth the price.

I tried this water filter for over a month to really put it to the test as I have a large family and we use the water from the fridge and I was shocked at how clean and purified the water still tastes. It was a little tricky to install but nothing impossible most importantly it filter out all the Clorox and toxins from the water

I love these water filters. They are extemely easy to install which is helpful when you are only 5™™1. They work for most newer kitchen aid refrigerators. Where I live we have really hard water and luckily with these filters I don™™t have to always buy bottled water.

I recently purchased the KitchenAid Refrigerator Water Filter 2 - KAD2RD1 for my refrigerator, and I™™m very satisfied! It really does the job, reducing up to 99% of lead and other harmful contaminants in the water. Installing the filter took just a couple of minutes, and now we have clean and tasty water straight from the fridge. The manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every 6 months or after 200 gallons, which is convenient to maintain the water quality at its best.

I found a good difference on the taste of the water after replacing our old water filter of our kitchen aid fridge. This water filter is slightly expensive than generic alternatives. However, its reliable which keeps my mind at peace knowing the purity of the water we are consuming. Very easy to install, just a simple twist to replace.

I can definitely taste a difference when I replace the filter. Installation is a little hard, getting the old one out. Putting the replacement in is easy. I think it™™s worth changing it every 3 months. I took off 1 star only because it™™s a pricey filter.
